Sampson completed his undergraduate with Colorado Technical University (Colorado-Spring) and a graduate program at Walden University; Minneapolis. He is board-certified in psychiatric mental health practice (PMHNP) across the lifespan by the American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC). He has over 12-year of experience in health care, working in different department settings.

He spent five years working at Parkland Teaching Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where he blended with clinical experts in medical and psychiatric care. He also worked in another teaching hospital; UT South Western, Dallas, Texas where he further acquired skills in advanced psychiatric assessment across the lifespan. Prior, to opening Northplace Wellness, he worked across different states, including; New Mexico, Louisiana, New Jersy and Katahdin Valley Health Center, Maine, where he served as a psychiatric provider, addressing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia bipolar disorder, drug addiction, and trauma-related disorders.

He is a vital asset to the mental health field, blending clinical expertise from a wide range of experience in different healthcare settings. He possesses a deep understanding of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology and evidence-based therapeutic intervention. With advanced training and a strong foundation in healthcare, he is skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions.

Beyond clinical competence, he demonstrates unwavering compassion and genuine empathy to his clients. Clients are met with kindness, patience, and respect, regardless of their background, age or condition. He listens attentively, foster a non-judgmental environment and empowers individuals in their journey toward recovery. He recognizes the complex interplay between mind, body and environment, tailoring care plans to meet each client’s specific needs.

He works closely with other medical providers, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic and integrated care.
